More Additions...

I've been working steadily to improve the new site. Since the social web is all the rage these days, I've included, and will be including, more aspects of that theme.

Our members are slowly making their way back. I understand that life is very busy for most of us these days as we do our best just to make it through the week. As we work our butts off to keep a job, we must also make time for our families. I wholeheartedly promote turning off the computer and spending some time with the family. Something I myself could do a little more often.

I am hopeful that everyone will survive this onerous time and that as y'all gain a few free minutes, you will stop in and say howdy.

Here's What We're Gonna Do

After looking around the cloud and racking my brain as to what this site could possibly be used for, something that would be different from the sites that already exist, I've decided to create a social atmosphere. Something similar to what everyone is already getting used to with such sites as Facebook.

Now, Please don't expect anything near the glamor of Facebook. Facebook took many years to get to where it is, and this site is definitely not a replacement. In fact, I am hoping that this site will be a useful tool that can be used beside such great sites as X Marks The Scot.

So feel free to register and check out what I've got so far. It's just getting started and much will be added over the next month. Heck, theres actually two articles within two weeks of each other. That's freakin' amazing.

Next on my list will be to convert the members from the original site, over to the new site. I hope to have that completed by Thursday (two days from the publishing of this article).

Welcome to the new Kilted Cowboy

After many months past my goal for revamping this site (twelve to be exact), I have finally found some time to straighten it out. Although it's pretty much been a dormant site as of late, I hope the new look will breath some new life into it.

Unfortunately for me and the Kilted Cowboy site, there are already sites devoted to building a community for the avid kilt wearers among us. That leaves me struggling to figure out just what I'm going to do with this site.

Until I figure it out, you the reader may feel free to join the site, look around, post a message on our forum or perhaps even submit an article on how kilts affect you.

So there it is. The first article of the new KC site.

Till I come up with something else to type, I'm signing off.
